The Alde and Ore Estuary Trust is launching its £12 million "Save Our Suffolk Estuary" fundraising campaign to safeguard the future of the estuary's river defence walls, which are currently vulnerable to strong tidal surges. Extensive research has been carried out to identify the priority flood cells, and the Trust is now ready to start spreading the message that everyone who lives, works and plays in the estuary has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to help protect the local economy, natural habitats and the exceptionally beautiful estuary landscape that thousands of people enjoy every year.

Relish is assisting the Trust's volunteers and campaigners with social media, press, administrative and fundraising support.  There will be three launch events across the estuary area, showing the Save Our Suffolk Estuary film narrated by the BBC's Nick Robinson, followed by a Q&A panel of experts.
