What we do

Relish. It's the stuff we use to elevate something to another level to make it even tastier. It's also a verb that describes when you enjoy something greatly and it's no coincidence that here at Relish both of these definitions clearly represent our skills and ethos. When combined they enhance any organisation and through the use of effective communications, business planning and marketing, we can help add some relish to what you do.

As a business owner and consultant to other organisations, Emma understands the importance of ensuring your voice is heard, your message is clear and both customers and staff understand why they should engage, visit, support or trade with you.

 

Whether you are a new set-up looking for support to create a business plan to plot and measure your growth, or a well established company seeking to ring the bells of change, Relish are able to guide you through what steps are required.

We offer a range of services from a marketing health audit with recommendations for you to implement yourself, to a complete marketing and communications service that quite simply takes care of everything for you. Emma Lloyd FCIM, MCIOF

Co-founder and Managing Director

Emma's career began at Aviva Insurance where for over 20 years she specialised in General Insurance credit management and the performance management of staff. With her extensive business experience, management qualifications from The Open University and as a Member of the Institute of Credit Management (MICM), being responsible for the collection of £15m each month, Emma learnt that the foundations of any successful business need robust financial controls and practices.

Viewed as a style guru by friends and family, after having her two children Emma retrained as a professional image consultant with renowned consultancy Aston & Hayes in London. Her approachable manner and style know-how, combined with strong business acumen and marketing expertise, lead her into fashion retail, where her Suffolk boutique expanded significantly both physically and digitially, becoming a Drapers national award winning business. 

Her copy writing skills and intrinsic eye for helping clients appear the best possible versions of themselves, led to her being asked to write regular style column for both online and printed publications, including the regional East Anglian Daily Times newspaper. Emma was also a lecturer at City College Norwich, teaching graduates how to dress to impress.

Formerly a director of charitable organisation Art For Cure, Emma's extensive social media and digital marketing skills, combined with a clear vision and ability to make innovative and creative decisions, allow her to identify the strengths and values of businesses to showcase their unique identity and enhance success.

Emma is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Member of the Institute of Fundraising. She is also a Trustee of Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall.

Georgie Wayman

Administrator

With over 30 years of work experience incorporating a vast array of skills including all areas of PA and secretarial work, Georgie is a highly customer-focused team member with excellent interpersonal skills and is well versed in all aspects of office administration.

Formerly PA to Suffolk’s High Sheriff and Press Officer at Ipswich Town Football Club, Georgie’s career highlights also include chairing the highly successful 2019 Suffolk Show Ball Committee.

Incorporating diary management, event organisation, project planning, proof-reading and editing and volunteer management, unflappable Georgie keeps the Relish office running like a well-oiled machine and plays a vitally important part in keeping everything on track. She is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and a fantastic multi-tasker!

Mat Schollar

Associate

Mat’s career began at JP Morgan investment bank, where for 5 years he worked as the Business Control Manager for the EMEA region, specialising in project management and business risk assessment. After helping a friend set up a video production company, Mat decided to take a more creative route in his career, taking over as Commercial Director in the production company.

With his analytical and conceptual approach to business, since then Mat has grown a number of tech startups and specialises in developing and implementing strategies for small and medium enterprises. Having been led through the recent stages of his career by a desire for creativity, Mat is now a partner at Allegro Creative Agency where he heads up the Business Development and Video Production teams, whilst mentoring a number of young, freelance creatives.

In his spare time, Mat can be found at Portman Road watching his beloved Ipswich Town FC, or rambling through the Scottish Highlands, Lake District and Suffolk farmlands.

Jess van Vuuren

Digital Marketing Assistant

With extensive social media experience, Jess's expert skills pave the way for many successful marketing projects. Jess is client-focused, and professional, combined with a warm and approachable manner. With the delivery of first-class customer service a priority, Jess' specialised skills and can-do method ensure a helping hand is never far away.

A creative whizz at digital marketing including content creation for social media and clients’ newsletters, her tremendous enthusiasm towards our marketing work and being ever eager to learn more and better her skill set, Jess' positive outlook is infectious. Passionate about the earth, animals, art and music, it's easy to see why Jess is a huge asset to our team.
